Here’s a breakdown of the steps to get your Oklahoma real estate license:
Step 1) Complete a 90-hour pre-license salesperson course.

Step 3) Apply for a provisional sales associate license.

Once all documents have been received and the application is approved, the applicant will receive further information regarding the required examination.
Step 4. Take and Pass the Oklahoma Real Estate Salesperson Exam with PearsonVUE:
Schedule the exam through PearsonVue. As of December 19, 2024, the exam fee is $75. You can view the exam outline in the Candidate Handbook. A minimum score of 70% is required for a passing grade.
Step 5. Pay your Oklahoma Real Estate License Fee to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission:
Basic Course of Real Estate Part 1

How to Obtain a Real Estate License in Oklahoma
The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC) maintains a specific list of criminal offenses that can disqualify an individual from obtaining a real estate license. You can find this list on the OREC website.
Oklahoma Real Estate Provisional Sales Associate License
Real estate licensees begin as provisional sales associates in Oklahoma. Within the first year of licensure as a provisional sales associate, you will need to complete a 45-hour Post License Course. After your first year licensed as a provisional sales associate, completion of the required education and submission of the applicable form and fees to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC), the OREC will issue a Sales Associate License. The licensee must be associated with a real estate broker for the license to be active.
